Hollywood Walk of Fame is located on Hollywood Boulevard. This place is a must visit if you are near Hollywood. It is free and fun! There are numerous shops and eateries nearby. While you stroll along Hollywood Boulevard, make sure to check out the 2,500 plus stars bearing the names of a bunch of famous people in the entertainment industry. The walkway could get really pack during the days, so if you are not a fan of large crowds, then you can always go at night. The only con about it is the people; they can be a little too much and be overwhelming. But, there are a lot of live performances here and there, so it makes up for it.

LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art)

LACMA is one of the largest museums in California. There are a lot of activities and things to see so you would not get bored. There is a lot of famous art piece and something new every time you go. In addition, there are live performances (but not hosted everyday). It is a perfect trip to go with families, friends, or dates. Ticket price varies depending on what you want to see. Sometimes you can get free admission, but that varies if they have sponsors or promotions. This place would probably take the entire day for viewing.

There is the Great Wall of China and there is a Great Wall of Los Angeles. The Great Wall of Los Angeles is a 13 feet by 2,754 feet mural that has snippets of California’s history. It is consider one of the largest murals in California. So if you are nearby and have nothing to do, check the place out to learn a little bit about California. The walk would take about 20 minutes, if you stop occasionally to view the artwork. It’s free, but require some leg power.

Balboa Park (San Diego, CA)

Balboa Park is definitely a Southern California tourist attraction. It is a 1,200-acre urban cultural park. It has green belts, numerous gardens, natural vegetation zones, walking paths, historical structures, several museums, theaters, shops, restaurants, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. There is so much to do and see that it requires more than one day to do all the activities. On some nights, Balboa Park will have events where parts of the park will be decorated with lights, brightening up the park. At times, there will be live performances and artist in the park, which can be entertaining to visitor. Overall, this park will definitely not be a disappointment since most of the activities are free with a lot of things to see.
